Winner at MML International awards

I am extremely glad to announce that 4 of my images have been awarded in the last edition of the renowned "Memorial Maria Luisa" Nature Photography Awards, in the categories "Mountain Landscape", "Natural Landscapes" and "Plant World". Founded 20 years ago, this contest has risen incredibly in popularity in the last decade, drawing every year more tens of thousands of images from the best professionals in the field of nature  photography of over 50 countries in the world… You can see here the winning images for all the categories. 

Winner at IPA International Photography Awards 2011

Several of my photographs have been awarded in the last IPA 2011 awards. One of my images got a First Prize in the Nature Category, one portfolio a Second Prize and some other four portfolios got a Highly Commended Award.

The International Photography Awards, considered by some as the Oscars of Photography, is a sister-effort of the Lucie Foundation, and one of the most ambitious and comprehensive photography contests at the international level. Over 8,000 submissions from 90 countries were received for the 2011 International Photography Awards with over 70 jurors, the largest to date. The Foundation's mission is to honor master photographers, discover new and emerging talent, and promote the appreciation of photography.

Winner at IPA International Photography Awards 2010

I am really happy to announce that four out of my five submissions to the last IPA International Photography Awards 2010 have been awarded. One of my images got the first prize in the Wildlife category, a portfolio of forest panoramic images got a second prize in the category "Seasons", a portfolio of 5 images of Scotland in winter got a "Highly Commended" award and another image of a camelthorn tree under the namibian night sky also was highly commended by the jury.

The 2010 International Photography Awards received nearly 15,000 submissions from 103 countries across the globe. IPA is a sister-effort of the Lucie Foundation, where the top three winners are announced at the annual Lucie Awards gala ceremony in New York. The Foundation's mission is to honor master photographers, to discover new and emerging talent and to promote the appreciation of photography. Since 2003, IPA has had the privilege and opportunity to acknowledge and recognize contemporary photographers' accomplishments in this specialized and highly visible competition.

Successful at ICP AWARDS

I am very happy to announce that 2 of my images have received a Highly Honoured Award in the last 2010 International Conservation Photography Awards. One of my images have been even used for all the advertisement of the Awards and Exhibition. These two images, along with all the rest of  winning images will be exhibited from next 18th June till the 6th of September at the Burke Natural History Museum, in Seattle, Washington, USA. The ICP Awards are amongst the best Nature Photography awards in the World. Founded by the renown nature photographer Art Wolfe, these awards are held every two years, receiving thousands of outstanding submissions from all over the planet. The interest of the contest is highlighting the need of conservation
