I have become regular columnist in the electronic version of the Spanish Photography magazine "Arte Fotográfico". This electronic magazine, which is distributed for free every 4 months, is the sister publication of the printed magazine with the same name. Arte Fotográfico is the oldest and one of the most acknowledged publications in Spain devoted to Photography, in all its sorts and fields but mainly focused on artistic and professional photography. Every 4 months, I will be the author of one of its sections, called "Luz Natural" (Natural light), where one of my photographs and the story which lies behind will be unveiled.
You can find here the last number of the magazine. On this issue, one of the new photographs which will be released in the new website soon...offered by the Gods of Valhalla.
On the July issue of Outdoor Photographer magazine (USA), a full article appears devoted to my work.
I must say that what you will read on the article is a great summing up of the long discussions I had with the great team of OP. Working on that interview made me realize many things I had never had the "time" to consider about my work and myself...Stopping from time to time to put together our work and see what we do, who we are, where we are and where we want to go is crucial for any creative artist, and I think in the future I will start creating "imaginary" interviews with myself. Putting that together into a kind of "artistic log" might be really useful to push forward my vision and my motivations.
I will be opening the exhibition "La Magie de l'Eau" at Gallery Bolena, Dijon this next weekend, and then I will be signing the new book "Bouts de Planete - Visions of Earth" at the nature photography festival of Montier-en-Der. This festival, with 14 years under its belt, has become the most important nature photography festival in France. With thousands of visitors and some of the best international nature photographers, it is real must for those who display a certain interest in nature photography. If you happen to be around, look for us at the library stand, we would be really happy to deliver you a copy of our book specialy signed and dedicated.
The first photographic book from the group "Bouts de Planète", to which I proudly belong, has been released. Produced by the Editions Altus in France, it contains some of our best images from all over the world, featuring foreword from Fréderic Lopez and the first time use on a book of 100% recycled couché paper and completely vegetal inks, with an uncompromised top notch quality. The book will be available both in English and in French at the end of October, being sold in the best bookstores of France, UK, Ireland, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg and online from Amazon UK and Amazon France, Editions Altus, BDP site and each of the authors sites.
