Winner at the Px3 Prix de Photographie de Paris 2013

It seems that this year my work really made a long way in the renown photography contest "Px3 Prix de Photographie de Paris" 2013. I am totally thrilled to announce that my work got two steps of the podium in the Nature category. My portfolio "Floating Rocks" became the overall winner, while my portfolio "Green Seas" got the third prize. I also obtained Honorable mentions with my portfolios "Dwellers of the Cold" and "Watercolours". The winning images of this year Px3 edition, among which an original of the portfolio "Floating Rocks", will be exhibited in the Espace Dupon gallery, in Paris, from next 10th July.

Successful Opening of the Chillon Exhibition

Last Wednesday we held the opening of our last photographic exhibition "La Magie de l'Eau" in the mighty Castle of Chillon. Nineteen of some of our best large format photographs are being exhibited until the 14th of April 2013 in the Salle des Armoiries of this renown monument, the most visited place in the whole Switzerland. The opening event was a huge success and we were really overwhelmed by the extremely positive reaction from the public. From here we would like to thank deeply the hundreds of people who attended the event. It was really touching for me to be able to talk with most of you and discuss about my motivations as an artist and I apologize if it was not possible to discuss with some of you, due to the limitations of time and the great affluence of public. We do hope we will have the chance in a future event.

My thanks also go to the whole team of the Chillon castle, Jean Pierre Pastori, Marta dos Santos, Alexandra Ranzoni, Dacha Abbet and all the team of wardens. Thanks for allowing me to exhibit at this incredible place and for all their work to make this happen.

Article on July issue of Outdoor Photographer

On the July issue of Outdoor Photographer magazine (USA), a full article appears devoted to my work.

I must say that what you will read on the article is a great summing up of the long discussions I had with the great team of OP. Working on that interview made me realize many things I had never had the "time" to consider about my work and myself...Stopping from time to time to put together our work and see what we do, who we are, where we are and where we want to go is crucial for any creative artist, and I think in the future I will start creating "imaginary" interviews with myself. Putting that together into a kind of "artistic log" might be really useful to push forward my vision and my motivations.
